Another signing for the club, alas it isn’t the news that George Puscas has signed, but it’s not all bad news.
On Friday, the club announced that defender Maxime Colin had signed a new contract, keeping him in B9 until 2023. Colin joined the Blues in 2017 from Brentford in a £3m deal and has been a near ever-present in the side as he’s managed to rack up 80 appearances for the club. Hopefully Colin will be able to add to his attacking prowess from last season where he provided four assists for the Blues. Would it be out of the question to ask for 5?

It started with the signing of Lukas Jutkiewicz, then was followed up by captain Harlee Dean staying for another couple of years. It’s not just the first team regulars that have been tied down, but there have also been moves for the future with the likes Connal Trueman locked in until 2022.
Continuity is a vital part of a football team. Take a look at Fulham last season, they brought in too many players, their cohesion was broken up and went through three managers to try and get things right, and it ultimately didn’t work.
Let’s get as many players tied down as we can, start building a team that can do a job not just this year, but for years to come as well.
With that said, who do you think is going to be the next player to get a new deal? There’s plenty to choose from.
