“And so it begins”, “So be it”: These Blues fans left despondent after latest transfer rumour

|

I think we might have just entered ‘panic stations’.

Not when it comes to the relegation battle, because some fans have been at that stage for some time now.

According to a report from The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are interested in bringing in Lukas Jutkiewicz during the January transfer window as a backup option for Lewis Grabban.

Jutkiewicz is currently the Blues top-scorer, and he hasn’t exactly had a lot of help from his team-mates this season, with the joint-second highest marksman being left-back Kristian Pedersen, so if Nottingham Forest were to take him from West to East Midlands, then there certainly would be a problem when it comes to finding the back of the net.

However, that seems to be the least of the concerns when it comes to these Birmingham fans. Many of them seem to think that his departure would either be a microcosm of the larger problems that the club are facing right now, or just the start of a period of mass change at St Andrew’s, with many more players following him out the door.

Would you be OK with Juke leaving?

Yes

No

I told you that we were at panic stations didn’t I?
