Jonathan Spector returned to action, playing 66 minutes in an U21s 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United.
Spector has been out of action since October, he picked up a thigh injury and has yet to feature under Gary Rowett.
Now the American International begins the load road to match fitness after missing over three months worth of football.
Great playing 60 minutes with the development team today after a couple of months out. @bcfc

Whether there is room for Spector in the squad or whether he will be move on remains to be seen.
It is unlikely he will be able to find a role in midfield, as that seems to be settled down now with the likes of David Davis playing the tackling role.
In terms of defence, Caddis is playing well at right back again and there is a line of players infront of Spector for centre back.
Maybe his time is up at Birmingham.
