“All day long”, “Zola mark 2”- Many Blues fans split as former Real Madrid man tipped to be boss

|

If you’re the kind of person that isn’t a fan of speculation when it comes to who is going to be the next Blues boss, I’ll be honest, these next few weeks aren’t going to be pretty for you.

The latest name to have his name thrown into the discussion for the role is former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup, with The Telegraph reporting that he is one of the names being considered for the role after Pep Clotet announced his departure on Monday.

The former Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Ajax man’s last venture in English football was a bit of a mixed bag, he led the Swans to a League Cup title and 9th in the table during his first season in charge before being sacked in his second season after a string of poor results left them precariously above the drop zone.

And whilst this would go against the supposed mantra of the board wanting the odd promotion for their new boss, if he can replicate the instant success that he had in South Wales, then who knows what he might be able to bring to the table in the Championship?

Would you take Laudrup at St Andrew's?

Yes

No

But, as will probably be the case with most managers linked with the job, the fanbase seemed split when it came to the prospect of the Dane taking the position.

What about you? Would you be happy with Laudrup taking the job?

There will be umpteen names connected with the job between now and whenever he or she is appointed, would be good if was sooner than later as the close season will be extremely short I would imagine. Whoever it is we have to accept it either way, I know who I would like to see but i am not holding my breath

No definitely not its about time we had a really proven
Manager not some bloke who things he can cut as a one .former it has got to be chris Houghton. But we could be stuck with warnock

I’d rather we got Karl Robinson. Plays nice attacking football. Suits what glues are all about.
