‘Air of delusion’, ‘really in trouble’: Lots of Blues fans don’t want to hear boss’s words

|

I wonder if Pep is looking forward to the international break?

It will get the fans off his back for a couple of days at least.

Speaking during his press conference yesterday, Pep talked about the disappointing result that was Swansea City on Sunday, and he also looked forward to this weekend’s game against Stoke City.

“We made a couple of mistakes that lead to two goals and a penalty – which took the match away from us – the players understand the things that we could have done better, they want to make sure we learn from them and take them into Stoke.”

However, as has become the case during press conferences, his words of encouragement fell on rather deaf ears with the fans. It looks as if he’s going to have to produce some results on the pitch, and produce them quickly.

Given how well the Blues have started at home this season, with a win and a draw under their belts, it looks as if it could be a must-win game for Clotet if he’s to stand any chance of getting these fans back on his side.
