I wonder if Pep is looking forward to the international break?

It will get the fans off his back for a couple of days at least.

Speaking during his press conference yesterday, Pep talked about the disappointing result that was Swansea City on Sunday, and he also looked forward to this weekend’s game against Stoke City.

“We made a couple of mistakes that lead to two goals and a penalty – which took the match away from us – the players understand the things that we could have done better, they want to make sure we learn from them and take them into Stoke.”

However, as has become the case during press conferences, his words of encouragement fell on rather deaf ears with the fans. It looks as if he’s going to have to produce some results on the pitch, and produce them quickly.

Given how well the Blues have started at home this season, with a win and a draw under their belts, it looks as if it could be a must-win game for Clotet if he’s to stand any chance of getting these fans back on his side.

  • Football is a simple game and the more powerful or the more skilful you are to get these simple things done the more successful the club will be ..firstly we need to cover the corner posts in defence if one player goes out of position to tackle then another player must take up that covering position ..we must also cut out crosses as prevention is better than cure ..balls in their box as many as we can get to panic opposition defences ..on the ground or in the air is the plan ..shots on target is a big must ..as on average 3 shots gets one goal everything else is entertainment ..Come on get with it ..kro
