AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kemy Agustien is looking to get his loan move to Birmingham City done and dusted as soon as possible.
The 21-year-old made 25 league appearances for AZ last season and is thought to be moving to the English Championship with the Blues on a one year loan deal.
It is also believed that Blues will also have an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the 2008/09 season.
Agustien is excited at the thought of playing in England, telling De Telegraaf newspaper: ‘Birmingham want to return to the Premier League as soon as possible, and I find that a great challenge.
‘What people think of me playing at a lower level doesn’t bother me,’ he added.
‘The starting point is that I can play football again and make progression under Alex McLeish, a top coach who wants to have me in his squad.
‘And it is also a fact that the Championship is well thought of.’
