Who’s ready for another tribute video?
Ok don’t everyone jump out of your seats at once.
Similar to how we had the ‘Lukas Jutkiewicz tribute week’ last week, it looks as if social media has decided to do the same but with another Blues icon.
And seeing as it is ‘international break week’, they’ve decided to keep things international by bringing up another moment from one of Birmingham’s foreign favourites in Frenchman Christophe Dugarry.
And in fitting in with this weekend’s opponents, they decided to pick a moment from the game at The Valley during the 2002-03 season, where the Frenchman flicked the ball with his heel into the net following a cross from Geoff Horsfield.
So when the club’s official Twitter feed put up a video of the goal as a ‘Throwback Thursday’ tribute, it gave Blues fans a chance to once again reminisce about Dugarry’s contributions to the club not just on the day, but overall as well.
Greatest player I’ve seen in a Blues shirt, including TF!! ????

It was a fantastic team performance that day. Who would ever have imagined a Dugarry/Horsfield partnership

I wonder what the odds are of Lukas Jutkiewicz producing something similar this weekend? Or perhaps the role will be played by another Frenchman, Maxime Colin perhaps?
