“Gets teams promoted”: Former Blues forward Morrison throws his support behind this man to take over

|

Let’s just hope that the man in question is listening.

And that he might be persuaded to come and join us after all.

Former Birmingham City forward Clinton Morrison has given his views on the current search for a new head coach at St Andrew’s, and he thinks that a reunification should be the way to go.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Morrison said he hoped that whilst he would like to see former Blue midfielder Lee Bowyer get the role, he much favoured the club making the move to reappoint Chris Hughton, describing him as the perfect candidate based on his track record:

It has been reported that Hughton is interested in taking the role with Blues, but that he is waiting to see what happens elsewhere in the Championship before he makes his mind up on which approach he wants to take, which as I said at the time might make it look as if we are his third choice when it comes to his potential suitors.

Do you want Chris Hughton back in the dugout?

Yes

No

But given what he achieved when at Birmingham City, and elsewhere in his career, are we willing to let those feelings get in the way when it comes to appointing the next boss?

What about you? What do you make of Morrison’s comments?

Lee bowyer or Chris Houghton for or both . Now it seems 2million for Bellingham the new manager needs a war chest of about 10/ 12 million that should buy a few players
Keep going into loan market and get some good freebies who will want to impress the new boss to try and get a permanent deal but we really see old ding dong give manager that sort of cash …..NO WAY KRO SOTV
