“Active, but no deal as yet”: Journalist provides major update on Birmingham City forward hunt

|

So, it looks as if there could be some movement.

And with more than one name being mentioned, at least it sounds like the club have got backup plans to go with it. Now we just wait to see who is going to end up where. As I’ve pointed out before, Blues are in desperate need of some help up front and work appears to be underway on that front, at least according to journalist Richard Wilford:

I’ve spoken before about the idea of Scott Hogan coming back, and whilst I was initially against the idea, I did more recently say that the longer and longer we go without signing a recognised Championship forward, the more appealing that he becomes.

Should the club try to bring Hogan back this window?

Yes

No

Meanwhile on the Kayden Jackson front, judging by the reaction to some rumours last month about his potential arrival, there might be some fans who are going to be relieved to hear that bit of news, although there might be a few that are in the same boat as me when it comes to Hogan, and now he might look a little more appealing.

What about you? What do you make of this update regarding our hunt for more bodies up top?
